I read in a marginally respectable journal a report which says "Work commenced on 4th December 2000 on the deviation of tracks at Sulphide Junction for the provision of the new Glendale station".

I have not heard about this before.  Does anyone know what the proposal is and when this new station is to be opened?  Will it be additional to or in place of any existing stations?
