Perhaps they didn't try to refurbish the brakes on these trams.  But 
then it makes you wonder... they must have other trams like this around 
that could be used to run the city circle service.  Surely they could 
even use the vintage trams.  But maybe they'd rather the vintage trams 
rust from doing nothing?

It would surely be a good tourist attraction though.
