For those in the West, there will be a free public lecture on Monday 12th
Feb at Midland Town Hall by Dr Lucy Taska ( background of studies into
Eveleigh Railway Workshops) who has recently made a study tour of railway
heritage sites & museums in Europe. It is at 7pm and entitled 'Nostalgia or
Nostophobia? Considering Australian attitudes to industrial heritage and
their implications for the conservation and interpretation of railway
workshops.'
