[NZ] T3 - Technology Test Train

Just received the February issue of "Rails".  The lead article is about
upgrades to the loco fleet and testing of new train control systems.  The
train control envisages in-cab display and monitoring, including automatic
braking of the train when specified limits (speed or location) are exceeded.
Reading between the lines, the system would probably be installed in TWC
territory first.  Very interesting reading which confirms my thoughts on the
direction train control should be heading.  Would be interested to hear how
it compares with trials being run in Australia, and by QR in particular.
