Sounds like the perfect opportunity for the overhead branch (aka RAC?) to get
innovative with overhead design along Bombo Beach.  Highly tensioned twin
contact wire with no catenary wire, minimum height round concrete (or whatever
is minimum gauge) stanchions, leave the crossing loop unwired, no overhead
change overs?  Whatever's feasible and cost effective to show the railways
care by minimising the visual impact.
