They will use fully refurbished 2300, 300 and 400 class railcars, which
are no longer referred to as Red Hens. 2300 cars have refurbed transmissions.

Services will be fully commercial, with licenced 4 star catering. This is
the first venture of its type in Victoria (c.f. Bluebird Rail).

A shakedown trial of 2301, 416, 2501 and 2302 wil run this Saturday,
departing Bendigo at 10.30. The route will be Bendigo - Inglewood -
Dunolly - Maryborough - Castlemaine - Bendigo.
