Re: (NSW) Allawah station Lifts



In part probably demographics.  There has been a very significant population
of older Australians (how PC) in Allawah for well over 20 years due in part to
the high availability of flats (no yards less maintenance etc.).

As for Rockdale, demolition and a whole new concourse is required which will
consume many more $$$.  But Rockdale does desperately need improved facilities
and access, especially replacement of the relatively narrow east side stairs
to the street.

Allawah appears to represent a better bang for buck ratio.
