Ararat has good reason to expect that the train line connecting Ballarat
and Ararat will soon reopen. Hopes were spurred by media reports
yesterday that the State Government would include funding for the train
service in its May budget. A spokesman for Victorian Transport Minister
Peter Bachelor said a decision was close to being made.
