The Blue Mountains rail system was under fire again last week after a
CityRail signaller said a new alarm system was faulty and unsafe. A memo
written by the signaller said the alarm system created a "phantom track"
and a train that did not exist last Wednesday. The memo also claimed
there had been "numerous other alarm sounds for no reason".
