7 & 1/4 inch gauge, locomotives weigh 500kg-1.2ton,
we often pull 35people on a train.

No 1:1 people but 1:3 to 1.5 trains. 1:4 signals.
And yes, we have SPADs,
and being a signaller I undertstand driver frustration at the "Traffic
Lights"
-but haven't put a stick back in the face of a train for ages, enjoy
driving as well.
