I learnt that rather quickly.

When I was 16, I travelled alone to Sydney and back via XPT.

Because of an ongoing stomach infection thingy, I had special dietary
requirements, and it also meant I had to have constant food intake, because
I was digesting food too quickly.

Anyway.....  I spent heaps of money at the kiosk on board, for relatively
little food.

Funnily enough, the food made me sick, so I spent a day in hospital in
Sydney. Not fun when you're 16, alone, and have no relatives or friends in
Sydney.
