Re: VFT Dead in water



Surely though the Governmenrt has come too far to simply walk away from the
project. There has been a lot of press, a lot of support from south of the
border for an extension to Melbourne etc etc. The fact that the proposal was
resurrected after going down in the early nineties shows that there was
plenty of support.

If this is the decision of the Government it will lose a lot of face and
credibility as far as major projects goes.
