Part of the franshice agrement for Yarra Trams inculded an extension of
the Mont Albert Tram to Box Hill.  (see http://www.contracts.vic.gov.au)

It will stop just short of Station Street and stupidly not turn south and
head up to the railway station like it should.

Route will just be along Whitehorse Road from the existing Mont Albert
tram terminus to Box Hill.

If you want details, try http://www.doi.vic.gov.au and see if they can
help, or Whitehorse Council will have the details.


Would I be right in saying they opening of the tram line will be soon
after the new trams come along (which will run route 109)? That way Yarra
Trams can show of there new trams a second time when the extension is
opened?
