Re: Old Castle Hill branch

You dummy,

I know perfectly well where it went.
It branched off behind the former Westmead boys home and went up behind
Westmead hospital to the steam tram depot at North Parramatta (was CASE
tractor workshop until demolished to make way for Burger King in the new
development). Then it followed Old Winsdor Rd following the steam tram route
(except for a few diversions) to Castle Hill. It then continued along to
Rogans Hill where it terminated. It was originally planned to take it as far
as Dural. (another much earlier plan was to extend the Carlingford line to
Dural)

Using your logic, the Sydney to Parramatta line would still have 1855
bullhead and barlow rail. The Castle Hill line would have been upgraded if
the traffic increased .
