Re: More outcomes from Glenbrook.

Tom,

I didn't say that he was. If you read my post. I said, "that I though he was
running the railways when many of the business Group split's were made". I
said this, because may people believe that the disjointed manner in which
the railways was broken up into the various business groups, has led to a
break down in liaisons between these same groups ie; Cityrail, Country Link,
RAC, F/Corp, Nat/Rail, RSA, Rail Estate. A good example is the development
of different radios used by Cityrail to other rail users, (which I believe,
was a contribution factor in this accident) the years of confusion about who
owned what bit of track, what piece of land or rail yard, who was
responsible for it's maintenance and up keep, who did the train controllers
work for, who did the signallers work for, etc. Many of these questions are
only now being worked out and as a result regular maintenance, safety and
moral has suffered.

As for a Expert Witness. I presumed that the coroner might consider the
former head of the SRA of NSW an expert witness on the railways and it's
administration. Just as a specialist doctor might be called by the court, to
give there opinion about medical matters or a automotive engineer on motor
vehicle matters etc. If you read my post, I did say that I was only
SPECULATING!

Regards........Dino
