Swanston Trams submitted blue prints to Port Phillp Council for a
proposal free heritage tram loop from St Kilda road to Luna park to
ease the traffic congestion and parking problem around St Kilda. Also
on the blue print a proposal new tram line link Station pier(terminal
of route 109 Port Melbourne) and Fitzory street along the Beaconsfield
parade. The councilers,transport minister and Yarra/Swanston trams are
working together on this proposal. (Herald Sun Thurs 5/10 page 22)
