No 5 Rd at Dynon Locomotive Depot is hosting 3 x VQTX [632, 635, 637]bogie
fuel tanks.
They are currently painted in Freight Australia Green and Gold and are
fitted with suitable Pyle Locomotive MU cables and sockets, MU air lines,
Locomotive type fuel caps [to allow tanks to be filled at Sth Dynon at the
fuel point]
and an air operated pump and remote operated  gate valves to allow in
running refuelling of suitably modified Locomotive which would be coupled
either end.
Guess these will all be coupled together   and a crew van attached to take
the first Freight [West] Australia train across to Perth. Perhaps this will
happen just in time for the Announcement of the successful bidder for
WestRail ??
Interesting announcement on the Rail America web site..maybe jumped the gun?
