You can get away with whatever political rorting you feel like, in Victoria,
but God forbid you put your feet on the seats on Melbourne's trains!

I've always been of the opinion that Melbourne's transport people have been
overly anal about feet on the seats. Sure, it's disgusting when people put
muddy feet on them and most people don't seem to have any respect for
public property, but let's face it, if there's no police or guards in view,
people are going to do it anyway.

If they _really_ don't want people putting their feet on the seats, they
shouldn't build trains with the seats facing one another.

Paul.
