There was some talk of a lightening strike affecting Blue Mountains services
this evening.

Aside from the diesel hauled V-set in my earlier posting (bottom):
The 16:27 Katoomba - Sydney service was 30' late at Emu Plains;
The 16:59 Sydney - Mt Victoria service was held for 5' just outside
Hazelbrook;
The Fish was held for 8' just outside Hazelbrook.

Earlier and later trains were also affected.

Does anyone know what happened to the disabled 8 car V set that it required
diesel haulage?
