Since the building of the SG from Crystal Brook to Broken Hill, has
there ever been a substantial rebuilding of this line on the NSW side
, ie broken Hill to Parkes .
This line used to be classed as a branch line prior to 1969 ,and I
travelled on it way back in the 1970s on the IP and it was rough as
guts then.

Has the line ever been relaid to handle 22 tonne axle load locos like
NRs?
I cant remember any major relaying project.
