This shows a table of climate averages and extremes in Snowtown, SA. The
lowest recorded temp is -4.4ºC (26.1ºF) - so it's entirely possible that it
snowed. Its winters seem to be roughly similar to those experienced in the
western suburbs of Sydney (Liverpool) where it snows once every twenty
years.
