Afternoon All,
Today was not a good day for the Hurstbridge line, there was a tree down
at Diamond Creek causing a power loss to that section, and a power loss
to Heidelberg caused signalling failures at Heidelberg. This power
failure also effected the Lower Plenty Road level crossing at Rosanna.
They started the day with no trains running in the Hurstbridge - Clifton
Hill section with some buses running, but I understand by the morning
peak they were running about 50% of the up trains from Eltham and
Greensborough.
(Just think if this happened in Sydney there would have been 100
messages to aus.rail by now).
