No, but Victoria do. I can't recall NSW ever renumbering interstate trains,
with the exception of WL-1, WL-2, WL-3 & WL-4. These are -SA8 & -AS8 with the
first character being the day of departure. The old 3196 became (IIRC) -MS4.
Victoria changes ST-1 to something like 8902 (not sure - they're wierd down
there) :-)
