Mea Culpa!  I was not a Sydney resident in 1994 and I never read the EIS.
Sorry!

I just naively assumed from the Transfield Burgoynes publicity that "Airport
Link" implied suitable transport from the CBD for long-distance airline
travellers (something like the Heathrow Express or at least the Washington
metro at Reagan National).  This was indeed a stupid assumption and I'll
shut up shortly.

Maybe copies of the EIS could be provided to passengers waiting at
International and Domestic?

BTW, if there were a need for an additional two tracks from Erskineville
Junction to Sydenham, how did a $750M underground line win out over a $65M
surface line?
