Re: [Vic] Freight return to Cold stream??

I remember coming home from school waiting on Ringwood platform and
sometimes seeing the Lilydale and Bayswater goods combining for the up trip.
>From memory, at one stage the Lilydale was a daily goods and the Bayswater
ran Tues / Thurs. Sometimes the parcel motor would be sitting on 2 road
also. Occasionally if the up goods was running early, I would hear it
climbing the hill into Mitcham (where I caught the train from). Other
memories include watching the morning Bayswater goods shunt while I was on
the way to school. Often an L class but can remember E class frequently as
well. Sometimes a B but one day saw an X and 930!!!
