Two things:

1. Who mentioned Australian citizenship? That is a massive leap to assume
that the original poster has dual citizenship (unless it was mentioned in a
post which my server dropped).

2. If dual citizenship is indeed possessed ("Being both a POM & an aussie
citizen") why the need for a residency visa? Their Australian citizenship
negates the need for a visa, and they have the full rights of citizenship as
anyone else who is an Australian citizen.
