Hmmm. If it happened, I'd suspect QR would lease them and do the work
themselves - I'd certainly doubt that they'd need to bring in modified
bogies from OS, as there'd be more than enough in Oz.
Most likely they'd be 2100 series (16-645, 100 tons, 2000HP) or
2400/2500 series (12-645, 90 tons, 1500HP) locomotives. I'd suspect the
2100's as a lot of the 1550/2400/2500's are going to turn into 2300's
(turbocharged 12-645, new cabs, sexy electronics).
