The service which starts on the 7th May is to
compliment the existing Overnight service and will
run 4 days a week (with the Ghan 5 daylight trips
Adelaide - Melbourne).

The SA Minister of Transport Ms Dianna Laidlaw
says this will make the Overland one of the "Great
Train Trips of the World".   We will see.

The scenic beauty between Adelaide and Melbourne
is also a feature (well Adelaide - Murray Bridge
and a couple of extinct volcanos Ararat - Geelong)
