4 times weekly? how may times per week would be day and how many times
would be night service?

How about some promotion on newspaper, TV, radio, or movie theater,
cheaper fare? and maybe some connection to tourist attraction like
Grampians,

If marketing carefully, there are people out there who don't even know
there is a rail service between Adelaide and Melbourne
