C - Goninan "chopper" cars (originally K sets) Normally 6 car sets, but can be 4
or 8.
G - Outer suburban Tangara
K - Goninan force ventilated or air conditioned cars. Normally four car sets
(except K1 to K4 which are two car sets) but can also run as 6 or 8 (2 x K).
Originally R sets.
L - Two car sets. Originally T sets (reclassified when Tangaras started)
R - Six car sets made up of any standard double stock (ie, not K or C stock)
S - as for R sets but only four cars
T - Tangara. First sets originally "TAN" before becoming T
V - Double Deck intercity.
Hope this helps.
