If you can find a copy of David Griffiths book "BHP
Tramways Centenary History" published by MERM you can
with some hard work, piece together the distances.

Iron Knob line, the original line was and I quote,
33 miles 5 furlongs and 4.11 chains, duh.!

Whyalla to the Knob/Baron junction was depending on
what part of the book you read, 13 miles from Whyalla
OR 12Kms on a 1985 photo caption.!

Whyalla to Iron Barron on a gradient profile map
appears to be 29 miles approx.

The planned Iron Baron to Iron Duke line was 30Kms.

This wonderful book with some outstanding photographs
and history was marred by not having a simple line
diagram showing the lines and their distances.
