NT businesses to maximise rail opportunities

ABC reports that businesses in the Northern Territory have been urged to
maximise the opportunities for rail. This includes using networks of
alliances to bid for sub-contracts associated with the construction of
Alice Springs - Darwin, and consolidating freight so more can be carried
by rail.

The NT government ran workshops in Alice Springs, Tennant Creek and
Katherine to encourage small to medium enterprises to make more use of
the opportunities rail presents to the Territory.
