Bali by Rail

Building a bridge is still an alternative idea.
For now, I reckon the above reply is an idea worth discussing, than digging an expensive tunnel from Java to Bali.

1. But anybody know what kind of ferry (for 20 cars/lenght:more/less 120 meters)?

2. What kind of systems can be possibly applied? Do you have examples, where(location) and companies?

3. Is there any set backs for this concept?
