[NSW] Rail upgrade in July

some rail upgrading to be conducted from Monday 3rd to Monday 10th July:

* Granville, Strathfield, Bankstown "triangle" shutdown on 8 and 9th
July (weekend)

* Bondi Junction and Edgecliff closed (are there terminating facilities
at Kings Cross?)

* Olympic Park trains not running for the whole week (1st week of the
school holidays. Great time to shut the line down!)

* Wolli Creek (Illawarra platforms) closed. Change at Central for
Airport line from Illawarra 
(ok what's going on here, Bondi and Wolli being shut down all at
once?!?)


Can someone explain what sort of works is being done all over the
network over the first week of the school holidays? it seems an awful
lot to be done here.

Two Strathfield-Granville-Bankstown shutdowns before saw the Down
Suburban line get ripped up and new track + concrete sleepers placed.
