The contracts for the proposed $1.2 billion Alice Springs to Darwin
railway could be signed in London next month. The Northern Territory's
Chief Minister, Denis Burke, says it is a likely prospect because the
Prime Minister and South Australia's Premier will be in London at the same
time.
