Due to what was announced as a 'points failure at Turella' no trains to
Macarthur via Redfern tonight at 5pm, big delays on the Bankstown line
too. After a Bankstown via Lidcombe at 4.50pm the next Bankstown was
announced as due at 5.20pm. To get to Campbelltown from Redfern I went
via Granville only to get caught at Fairfield where the boom gates on
the level crossing had failed and we tripped through 3 signals.Followed
another train signal to signal also."Due to late running" the Glenfield
train I was on terminated at Liverpool - finally got to Campbelltown in
around 2 hours!
Cheers Roy
