Re: Diesel loco motors

the EMD H engine is probably the biggest EMD, SD90Mac 6000 THP locomotive
equipped with a GM16V265H engine.

GE has a comparable engine in its C60 series
The GE 7HDL™, a 16-cylinder, twin turbocharged, electronically fuel-injected
engine powers the AC6000. This 6,250 ghp diesel engine is designed and
manufactured for higher horsepower.
the 567 and 645 are on their way out as they are not clean enough for todays
EPA standards
