Soccer is also being held in Brisbane (The Gabba) as well as training
sessions for track and field (Nudgee College). I don't think it will be too
heavily patronised here (unlike the Commonwealth Games of 1982). Still, QR
have placed a ban on major track closures for the duration of the Royal Show
(Ekka) and OG's which are pretty much back to back. To the best of my
knowledge, not a great deal of additional services will be scheduled.
Furthermore, to the best of my knowledge, the training sessions at Nudgee
College are not open to the public.
