Well don't go yelling about the cops. Think Ladbroke. People
died there because they were trapped. I bet your average copper
lacks the psychic ability to tell if a train's about to burst
into flame.

I'd say they did what they did because they thought it was the
best course of action under the circumstances. In the wrong kind
of circumstances, actions like these could save lives.

This time it was overkill. Maybe next time they won't be quick
enough.
