I was on it last weekend, and although it is loud (my ears were ringing
before Geelong), I thoroughly enjoyed the trip.  One day I might get the
audio off the minidisc onto computer...
Another possible reason for loudness (on top of the twin exhausts) could
be that the loco is working fairly hard to keep the timetable.
