Sale of Westrail Freight

The legislation to allow the sale of this part of Westrail's operation (not
much else left) has been passed in parliament.
There appears to be no particular rush and no particular group is preferred.
All of the above comes from a very reliable source.
Now, the rumours!
All will be finalised by the end of July and Westrail will remain in a
caretaker role until the end of the year.
One driver, to whom I spoke, was checking out his options and was sure that
the curtain drops within weeks.
There'll probably be an announcement on TV tonight.
As usual, the government (purposeful lower case "g") has been very quiet.
The National Party have apparently quietly rolled over.
