I have been asked to find out something about a brass builder's plate that
appears to from a railway carriage.
It measures 57cm by 9 cm in brass with six screw holes.
It reads: Metropolitan - Cammell Carriage & Wagon Co.Ltd.
Saltley Works Birmingham 1937
I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me what this plate is likely to
have come from.
Thanking you in advance
John
