Other than the excellent (and not so excellent) wine that was on offer
(well, it *is* a tourist thing after all), I have 2 recollections:
firstly the 2 Swiss girls chatting up the Steward in the bar in my
car, then talking about him in Swiss German behind his back (not
knowing that I could understand every word) :-)
and secondly the train stopping at Gawber for written train orders to
proceed into the Barossa. I don't think I've ever seen that before -
anywhere
The restoration job on the train itself is first class, and it was
worth the $80, as it may have been the only chance I ever get to ride
on a Bluebird unit, although I hope not.
