My observations tonight saw Circular Quay turned off, and Museum's running
but with the same problems St James has, that is:
- any train terminating at Central shows destination "Special"
- "due out" minutes can jump up and down by a lot of minutes, even sometimes
showing the next train arriving in 6 mins, with the "following" train
arriving in 3 mins!
- services jumping back and forth
- the original indicators turned off, even though the plasmas have
"INDICATOR UNDER TEST" shown on them.
- Poor abbreviations with station names (the ESR seemed to have no
abbreviations)
- clearly not operated automatically, nor is the DVA
It looked like the Station Assistant was scrolling through a list and
pressing F12. The screen then changed. Maybe a coincidence?

This may be a stupid question (as I am not at all familiar with the concept
of track circuits), but is the City Circle equipped with "accurate" and/or
operating circuits? The ESR seems accurate, but the City Circle displays
seems very erratic.
