hehe. that reminds me of another great de-railment story that happened
in december last year when it went off the rails outside North sydney.
That was the time when I wasn't even thinking of saying something in
this newsgroup.
Well i got to Hornsby, told the train was terminating, got off and rang
work to say I could be late. As I'm a "non-thinking" passneger, it took
a lot of energy and great time to figure out that maybe if I go down
the northern line I could get to work. Low and behold, a lot of the
other non -thinking passengers thought this as well and got on. No
worries until central where it aited a while. I'm thinking this is ok,
I understand as there is a de-railment. At central the announcement
said get out at wynard for a bus service to North sydney. A guy i know
who works at north sydney jumped out of the train and caught the other
train to the city as it would get to wynard faster. I stayed on.
Town hall "change at wynard etc" the guard also told us this. At wynard
we get told this service will go to North sydney. I felt sorry for the
people that got off at wynard.
Why all of a sudden this change in heart?
