Failed up wheat Bundanoon-Exeter

8144+8148 with 40 wheat cars ,3230t,  came to a stand less than 100m from
top of 1 in 66 between Bundanoon and Exeter about 10.28am Wednesday 19th
January.     10.27am up Endeavor set from Bundanoon was already out of
platform, at up advanced starting signal, when news of failure given.  It
returned to platform, discharged passengers and backed into up refuge.
At 11.03am, NR76+NR30 arrived at Bundanoon with 46 cars on mainly empty up
steel.   After receiving ppropriate authority, proceded into section, picked
up employee protecting failed up wheat, coupled and after appropriate
procedures, the 90 vehicle combined train proceeded without trouble to down
refuge at Moss Vale arriving at 11.46am.
The up Endeavor left Moss Vale 75 mins late at 11.57am.
