I took the Overland in late December last year, the coach class
carriages were full, probabily all took the advantage of the 30$
supersaver fare but sleepers were poorly patroned. The sleeper fare
aren't that attractive only been marginally less then airfare.

For me the fare (1st class sleeper) is reasonable, comfortable bed, hot
shower, endless coffee/tea supply plus a great, delicious and big
breakfast, try to find that on a Qantas flight? HA!
