Yesterday afternoon (Thursday 28/12/00) heard the
raucous horn blast of an ex AN loco heading South out
of Alice, two in fact, green & gold AN class.
Some hours later just on sundown, the pair of AN's with
that characteristic window vibrating EMD throb returned
to Alice Springs hauling a carked NR and its train.!
