SYDNEY TRAM TO RUN IN BENDIGO FOR ONE TOUR ONLY

Bendigo Tramways have recently completed works on Sydney R class 1808.
The tram will have its official launch featuring representatives of
Central Deborah Bendigo and The Sydney Tram Museum on Friday 29/12/2000.
The official launch will be on a Bondi beach theme. In addition to its
official launch a once off enthusiast tour will operate for a limited
number of passengers before the tram is transported from Bendigo.  The
tour will feature-

· The official launch of 1808 tram including light food and refreshments
· A three hour tour with photo stops including 1808 running with SW5 808
and Sydney built SECV 7
· Photo opportunities of cars under refurbishment including R Class
1951, X1 466 and W Crossbench car 35
· A tour of Depot and workshop
