According to ABC Midday news today, the Transport Minister Carl Scully
announced $273 million was to be spent on CityRail improvements. The money
would be spent on 2 extra tracks on the East Hills line between Turella and
Kingsgrove, duplication works on the Richmond Line, increased training for
drivers and guards, and improved maintenance of tracks and trains.
